Chelsea have confirmed the signing of young defender Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors. But will keep the player on loan for the 2024/25 season.

Chelsea have been in talks with Boca for some time. And reached an agreement earlier this month, with ทางเข้า ufabet Sport reporting that he is worth £15.6m.

The 19-year-old has signed a seven-year contract with Chelsea and will remain. With Boca on loan before joining them at a later date.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino in a £15.6m deal.

Anselmino joined Boca’s academy at the age of 12 and only signed his first professional contract last year. Scoring his first senior goal the same day.

He went on to make nine more appearances for Boca after that, scoring his first goal in April.

Anselmino is the latest South American teenager to be signed by Chelsea since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over the club.

Kendry Paez, Andrey Santos, David Washington and Angelo Gabriel have all been brought to Stamford Bridge, while Estevao Willian is also set to join next summer.

Anselmino is the Blues’ eighth signing of the summer transfer window, following Omari Kellyman, Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guhiu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Vega, Caleb Wiley and Philip Jorgensen.
